Be My Valentine !

Hi Everyone :)
Todays project is all about the Love.
With Valentines Day just around the corner what better excuse to create pretty girly
love heart cards.

For this project I used a very soft baby pink cardstock for my base
and teamed it with a deeper shade of pink patterned paper.
I added to the mix the heart die cuts and used distressed inks to enhance the edges of all
the elements to give a vintage feel.
I popped the hearts up on dimensionals to give a 3D effect and used a basic white
bakers twine for texture.

I am entering this project into the

So Sweet

Hi Everyone,
Today's project was created to enter into the

Sketch Challenges are such fun to play along with.
I have used the cute ice - cream and blue check patterned paper by Stampin Up
and teamed this with soft pink card stock which has been embossed with tiny dots.

The "so sweet" sentiment is from the Stampin Up stamp set Hello Life

Unicorn Birthday

Hi Everyone :)
Today's project has been created using Digital Images.
Being a crafter who uses stamps sets I never really  thought to much about
digital imagery however recently I have found myself trolling the internet
in search of something new.
I stumbled across various sites offering digital images and have now become
a converted digital images artist.
Not to say I still won't use the stamps sets I have and love,
but using digital images opens up a whole lot of new options.

Todays project is a very sweet greeting card using
Birthday Unicorn digital images from Bugaboo

I have cut down the images to measure 2" x 2" and used water colour to bring
the cute little unicorn to life.
I double matted each image and  popped them up on dimensionals for a 3D effect.

I am entering this project into the

If you haven't used digital images before investigate this amazing option.
Your won't be disappointed.

Dance in the Rain !

Hi Everyone :)
Today I am playing along with

Seeing as we have just had a weekend of rain in Brisbane Qld
it wasn't hard to find inspiration.
I have used the Stampin Up stamp set Beautiful You on this card
and had fun using watercolour to decorate my back ground.

I used the paper piecing method to give her dress and hat some detail
and popped her umbrella up on dimensionals to add a 3D effect

The sentiment "Don't Hide in the Storms - Dance in the Rain"
comes from the Maymay Made It -  Birdie Says collection.

Have a great day and

Ballerina Teddy Bear - Easel Card

Hi everyone :)

Today I am playing along with

I chose this gorgeous Ballerina Teddy Bear from the amazing digital images available
over at Beccy's Place. Whatever your needs Beccy's Place have the image.

My card style today is the popular Easel Card

I used water colour to bring this cute little bear to life and teamed her
with some contrasting pink card stock.
I then highlighted her outfit with a white gel pen and added the sweet
"Celebrate" sentiment.

I love the way this card turned out
Thanks Beccy for providing your amazing digital images :)
Try an easel card .... They are such fun to create.

Gate Fold Card

Hi Everyone :)
Today I would like to share with you a cute fancy fold card
called the Gate Fold
The Gate Fold card is very simple to create.

For this card I used dark Grey card stock cut to
8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
One the 8 1/2" side I scored my base at 2 1/8" and 6 3/8"
This will produce your Gate Fold.
I decorated this card using Kaisercraft's Romantique paper series
and Stampin Up stamp set Best Thoughts.
I layered my focal image on 3 cardstock layers to give dimension
and added a cute white satin bow .

Today I am playing along with
Craft - Dee Bowz February Challenge - Anything goes with a Bow

I hope you try this fun Gate Fold style

Sunflowers on a Rainy Day !

Hi Everyone :)
On a rainy Queensland day what better way to
brighten up the craft room than with pretty Sunflowers.
Today I am playing along with
Use your Stuff  - Button Up challenge #297
where we made good use of buttons.
I often forget to add buttons to my cards so this challenge saw me rummaging through my button collection and I think they add a
nice touch to the sunflower centres..
I just love this stamp set so much :)
This a Stampin Up set called Painted Harvest and is a 2 step stamping method.
I have also used the matching Designer Series Paper for my background.

Hope you can find some sunshine on your rainy day :)
